Taupo Recap
The inaugural Old Chaps Tour won by tour founder Jezza Andrew after a duel with fellow public school boy, George Passmore. Weather was a bit dicey and nine holes needed to be cancelled. This was the end of the amateur era of the OCT. 63 holes. 3 days. Yawn.
Other highlights:
Mssrs, Andrew, Barlow, and Passmore introduced to the rigors of gambling against North Americans. Matt Byrne, on a personal crusade to avoid the wooden spoon, develops a Handicap Committee of 1 after Tokoroa. Ben Barlow learns the hazards of the rusty round.
